I'm kinda into BBC's The Musketeers right now. How can I NOT, really? The costumes are gorgeous, the men aren't bad either, the women are wonderful, there are horses and swordfights and adventures, and BROTHERHOOD! Also, the fanfic potential for all this is close to alarming. So yeah, can you blame me for watching and loving this show? The answer to that question is no.
This here is Porthos, played by Howard Charles. He's awesome, too.
I needed something to draw that I could bring to work, that wouldn't take much effort, and this was it. Black ballpoint pen on paper. I find ballpoint pens very relaxing in a way (until they start to leak and leave black dots all over the drawing ...), because What's Done Is Done, you know? No room for mistakes here. And a lot of the work is just to fill in the white spaces, so yeah ... relaxing.
I found the drawing lacking when I'd finished Porthos, so I googled antique picture frames and ... well, added a frame. Remind me not to do that again, please? Because eurgh, too boring and too much work. I got sick of it as soon as I'd started.
Aaaanyway, yeah. Watch The Musketeers, and you'll see what I'm on about.
