Anamorphic leaf by ihni
Anamorphic leaf
... okay, I THINK it's called an anamorphic drawing? One where the perspective is skewed and only looks right from ONE angle. Anyway, this is my first try to make one of those drawings. I drew a leaf, since it's autumn and I like autumn. :)

Watercolours, watercolour pencils and coloured pencils on watercolour paper. A few hours worth of work.

I'm not entirely displeased with this one, actually. Kinda like it.
Star Trek dress by ihni
Star Trek dress
So, I found this awesome fabric about a year ago, and bought 4 meters of it just in case I wanted to do something with it some day. And recently, I found this pretty pattern (Butterick B6018), and found that that would be the perfect fabric for that kind of dress! So I started sewing ... and almost didn't have enough fabric! I certainly didn't have enough fabric to adjust the pattern so that it fitted the seams, but hey ... I like the result anyways.

It's crazy comfortable to wear, and I'm amazed by the pattern - I didn't have to change a thing for it to fit me! Seriously, it was the best pattern I've ever used.

Yesterday, my dad and I visited a 50s all-american diner and I wore this dress there. I felt like I belonged there. :p
Buick by ihni
So, a co-worker's birthday is coming up, and it's kinda a big deal since it's 65 and all, and that's when people retire in Sweden. And this co-worker, see, he owns this awesome car, an old Buick, that he has restored and painted and it's a work of art, really. So I decided to draw that car for him for his birthday.

I should have thought things through more, though, and NOT used watercolours. To be fair: to be watercolours, it's not bad. But it's not like I had envisioned it. I thought about oil first, but then it wouldn't dry until his birthday. I thought about goache, but I've never used that before and I didn't want to try it on a real piece. I thought about acrylics, but I'm all out of acrylics (at least most colours) and I don't get paid until Friday. So watercolours it was!

I hate the background with a passion (it was really buildings, though, and that would have been worse), but am not entirely displeased with the chrome. I could have spent more time on it ... but I didn't. This is how I'll leave it.

Watercolours, with details added with a black pen and a white gel pen. Colours tweaked a little in Photoshop, since it didn't scan very well.
Random soldier by ihni
Random soldier
I went to see Kvartersteatern’s version of Ronja Rövardotter (Ronia the Robber’s Daughter) a couple of days ago. It was very inspiring (as well as true to the original, which made me so happy, as it was my absolute favourite as a child!), and I took a bunch of pictures to use as references for drawings.

This here is a random soldier on a horse. Watercolour on paper. I'm actually pretty pleased with how this one turned out; usually I fail so much with watercolours, but this one turned out okay. More than okay. I like this one.

I'm offering up two commissions in this year's charity auction (organized by the Sterek Campaign, and all money goes to Wolf Haven International).

It doesn't even have to be fandom related! As long as I have a good photo reference, most things are accepted. :) And I can use most mediums ... and I'll try my hands on anything.

You can bid on me here. (…)

(You should also totally check out :iconreborn-gp: because she's offering a commission too; you can bid on her here!)

Come on, people! I want to draw, and the wolves need money! :D

Thanks! Does it has to be something made especially for this project, or is anything okay?
