This weekend, we had Stenstansdagarna here in my town. It's a couple of days which focuses on the time around the 1900's. Amongst a lot of other events during these days, a couple of artists (I think there were 28 of us this year) put up some art on screens downtown, and we're encouraged to wear clothing from around that time. I put up some art, and naturally couldn't resist sewing fitting clothes.
The so-called art was also inspired by that time; taken from old photographs and then I added and/or changed something so it'd be more ... interesting ... at a second glance, but the clothes were probably more of a success than the art.
I liked the skirt, could wear the blouse and absolutely hated the hat, but wore it anyway.
Next time I get an idea like this, though, remind me that it's not really worth all the time it takes, okay? Thanks.
