Years ago, I started a Creativity Circle over at HIMclub.com. That meant that we were a bunch of people who gave each other a prompt, which we could interpret however we wanted - and do something creative from it. That Creativity Circle is long since dead, unfortunately, and a few weeks ago I complained about this to a friend online.

So we decided to start our own Creativity Circle. There's currently four of us; the Sping Saints' Creativity Circle, and the first prompt (given by Sorrows) was "Bert McCracken".

Just like that.

So, with that prompt in mind, I knew that I had this gorgeous photo of mr McCracken lying around on my computer. I have wanted to do something about that photo for quite some time now, and this was the perfect opportunity.

It was a long time ago since I last played with text, so I decided to do that for this drawing. I used some lyrics from The Used's songs, and started ... writing? drawing? ... whatever.

When I was halfway through, though, I realised that neither I or the pen I was using was going to last until the end. So I added the blackness in the background in Photoshop. A little cheating, there.

It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but that's okay. It looks good as a thumbnail, at least.
