I'm not happy. The mouth's all wrong and the nose's all wrong and the eyes are really wrong and we shouldn't even talk about the hair (1). It's because I'm lazy. I bought this very nice (and expensive, of course ... sigh) paper today, and wanted to draw something on it. I went through my "pictures that look nice so maybe I'll draw them someday"-folder on my computer (don't know who took the original photo though), and found the original photo of mr Gerard Way, and thought "Hey, I can use that one". Turns out that I couldn't. I had PLANNED to use different coloured pencils ... but of course, I forgot about that. So I started with black. And after I'd drawn the nose, I was like "Oh shit, I was supposed to use coloured pens!", but it was too late then, and I had to finish it in black. I'm not happy. I would probably like it more if I didn't know who it was supposed to be though. Now that I do know ... it's just not the same. Although. The paper rules. Will have to buy more of it at some point. *** (1) = I like the tie though. Really. |
