Done because my aunt wanted a tree of life pendant, and once I open the damn thing, I have to work fast and make something out of the clay, or it will dry and be a small, expensive, useless piece of non-shaped silver clay, so ... yeah.

This is the result of yesterday's inspiration; A heart, a leaf, another leaf, a tree of life, a third leaf, a fourth leaf (with a zircon and some swirly things on it), a big Enånger seal and a smaller Enånger seal.

See, those fish pendants there? They're the seal of Enånger, a small village/community (?) where most of my relatives live, and where we have our summer house. My mother is born there, so it's where I have my roots. I've been thinking about trying to make Enånger pendants for a while now, and finally tried it out. They look lovely and home-made, and a part of me likes that while a part of me hates it. Anyway, they're partly oxidized (and then polished again) to make them look older.

Yeah, that's about it.

the tree of life pendant is so beautiful, as is the rest of them. you still sell them on etsy?

Yeah, I do. Or rather, I TRY. Haven't sold anything in ... well ... a long time. Still, it's fun to try! :D

I love love love your heart pendants!!!! I know I told you many times before, but I just do (I love all your pendants here, but the heart is my absolute favourite!)! And hehe, cute fish :D

Is it due to the partly oxidization that the pendants have a gold-ish touch to them? Looks great, I think I like it even better than 'plain' silver.

Yeah, well if one oxidize them they turn a different shade ... the shade depends on how strong solution you have, and for how long you leave them in. I just wanted to make them look a little older, so I polished most of them again after I had oxidized them.

The gold-ish tint is probably because of the lack of daylight, and that I had to take a picture under my kitchen lamp ... which is a regular light bulb = more yellow light. I may take a better picture some day when I'm off, and actually have daylight.

Did you already give the Tree of Life to your aunt? Oh, and something I have meant to ask you a long time ago: how big are these pendants? It's hard to judge the size, but it looks like they're between 2 and 5 cm wide?

Yeah, the tree of life is about 3,5 cm in diametre, maybe a little more. And no, I haven't given her the tree of life yet ... but she was the one who commissioned me (?) to do it. She's also ordered another tree of life, a heart pendant and the Enånger seal. I think she's stocking up for christmas gifts ... :p

Hehe, that's probably a good idea - since Halloween is over everybody is busy getting ready for Christmas... I don't want to think about it until the 24th of December!

I love the month before christmas ... that's the real christmas for me. On Christmas Eve, though, mom and I will make pizza and watch TV. Just because. :p
I've actually been out buying christmas gifts today. I love doing that. And I love wrapping them even more. <3

Eating pizza and watching tv with your mom sounds nice. Do you already know what you're gonna watch?
I don't like Christmas at all. The time before is awful as well because of the many rushed and stressed-out people. I'm glad than my whole family agreed to stop making presents for each other after the age of 18, because we are all no good at giving presents... and in writing Christmas cards...! But what I DO love is New Year's Eve. My family has this tradition that we start watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy at around 2pm, only taking a break to eat dinner and go to the loo :D. So far we were never able to watch all three of them in one night, but last year we came pretty close, we only had 2 hours left :-).

It shouldn't be too hard to watch all three of them in one night. Maybe you could exchange it for the Shrek series or something, once you get tired of the LotR movies? :p But it sounds nice.

I love New Year's Eve. I usually get to spent it by myself, so I dress up in fancy clothes and eat nice food and watch TV or movies and light candles, and then around the strike of twelwe I go out on the balcony to watch people try to set themselves on fire ... errr, I mean the fireworks, and when it gets too cold I go inside and sit on the kitchen counter, looking out through the window. It's nice. I ... I guess I'm not much of a people's person ... :p
